NANO NAGLE giclée print
Foundress of Sister of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary
From the webcomic: The Sacramental Father Dom
FR. DOM: "Sister Rose is a Sister of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The order’s foundress, Nano Nagle, was born into a wealthy Irish family in 1718. She was known as 'the Lady of the Lantern', for she reached out to comfort to the sick, poor and elderly, at night, in the streets of Cork.
In a time and place where women religious were shunned if they actively engaging with people in need OUTSIDE of the church or convent, Nano opened seven schools for poor children – the first one in secret. She later opened homes for elderly women, providing instruction for them as well. Together with three other companions, she opened the first Presentation Convent in 1775."

Episode 4 & 5 concern a typical Tuesday morning for Fr. Dom, including morning Mass.
We then step into his thoughts as he instructs us about “sacramentals”.
